1. Inquisitors or Quakers
"How will the aliens react when Myrrrh is assassinated?” the National Security Adviser asked. “If he goes out trying to convert the world, is there any doubt that he's going to be murdered?” That stopped everyone. As usual, Sheila had asked the key question.
The oink kester arrived on Earth for only one reason bringing the joy of Grorsh and sureesh, a very different kind of reincarnation than any ever taught on Earth before.
2. Starships and Dark Matter
“Just let me talk,” Carolyn said. Ingraham nodded for her to continue. “I want to go with you when you launch. I have no doubt that you will do it. You’ve accomplished everything you ever set out to do.”
“Ask my ex wives about that. They would disagree.”
“I’m not asking to marry you. I’m asking to join your crew.”
“Does that mean we aren’t going to have sex tonight?”
The first interstellar trip encounters aliens who followed humans from Earth to the Centauri System. The An’tolii have their own plans for Earth’s future. If Ingraham doesn’t respond satisfactorily, it will be the end of all life on Earth.
3. The Cheney Rule
“Are they Chenies?” Diane demanded.
The computer answered, “The gravity waves did not correspond to any known signature for a Cheney ship.”
“Could it be a new unknown Cheney ship?”
“I have no way to answer a question like that. I am programmed to attack any non human ship that comes through the wormhole. It is up to humans to decide if you want to stop me.”
First Contact was with the Chenies who attacked without warning. Now Second Contact requires four young lieutenants to decide if they should follow the Cheney Rule.
4. Four Days in Shi’questa
Ologare said, “Most of their names start with Lieutenant. Do you think they belong to the same clan?”
“They might be castes,” answered Pitzka. “Lieutenant might be the lowest caste. They seemed to all take orders from Major Svenski and Captain Nkrumah.”
“If they have castes, then that would suggest that someone on the ship in orbit is the highest caste,” Madgleon said.
The First Contact for humanity is a group of humans who were taken from Earth 10,000 years earlier. Shi’questa has twice the land area of Earth and only ten percent of the people. Surely there’s room for Earthlings.
5. New Earth
“What do you want in exchange?” Mandy asked. “I assume you won’t give this to us out of the kindness of your heart.”
“That’s true. There isn’t a whole lot that you have that we want. What we've been talking about is bringing some of our people here to visit the planet when they are on vacation.”
“Are you saying you want to create a tourist resort?” Mandy asked utterly flabbergasted.
The water people at first believed they had won the biggest bonanza of all time by becoming the First Contact for humans, but then who has been abducting people? This has started to look like the biggest threat to the United Planets in over a hundred thousand years.

I really enjoyed the ideas and concepts put forward. It is full of original ideas (as far as my experience goes) and although the writing style is on the simplistic end of the spectrum, it makes for an easy read. I recommend it for anyone who likes to have a good think and to look at our world from a different perspective.I know they are only 'short' stories, but I would definitely be prepared to pay more for an expanded, fuller version of any of these stories with more character development and descriptions. I look forward to reading more from this author and wish him/her more time to produce more extensive writings.

I really enjoyed the ideas and concepts put forward. It is full of original ideas (as far as my experience goes) and although the writing style is on the simplistic end of the spectrum, it makes for an easy read. I recommend it for anyone who likes to have a good think and to look at our world from a different perspective.
I know they are only 'short' stories, but I would definitely be prepared to pay more for an expanded, fuller version of any of these stories with more character development and descriptions.
